Since the year 2000 we've seen so many places
Met so many people, a lot of new faces
Places before you would never have known
The number of Shufflers has certainly grown.
The Shufflers gather
whatever the weather
Putting their trust in Geoffrey and Heather.
Time to unwind, relax amble and talk
Everyone is welcome on our Saturday walk.
We carry our rucksacks
with a treat kept inside
For the welcoming stop on a sheltered hillside.
Every so often we stop, admiring the scene
Looking behind, to see where we've been.
When each walk is over
there's a new pub to try
One you've never noticed, one you've often passed by.
When you have experienced a shuffle, you will be part of our team
After six walks completed, you will be fulfilling your dream.
On the start of your
sixth walk, we will all crowd around
While your badge is presented and you're feeling so proud.
So enjoy your walking, take in the view
This is your shuffle; it's all done for you.
